Punjab Cultural Promotion Councilis an internationally acclaimed folk ensemble engaged in the promotion of rich cultural heritage and folkloric traditions of Punjab through world-wide networking for the last decade. PCPC is credited with participation in 80 world folk festivals and many international programs and conferences in various parts of Europe, South Korea, Australia and other continents.
Under the international, educational, cultural and sports exchange programs, PCPC has invited many folk groups and sports organisations from Denmark, Slovakia, Czech Republic, Greece, Russia, Poland, Bulgaria, Germany, Mongolia, Austria, USA, Scotland, Colombia and Belgium to Punjab since 2003 to strengthen international friendship across borders.
PCPC has been recognised as Global Alliance Partner for UNESCO for cultural diversity in 2005. It is also an active member of international organisation - ISCA (International Sports and Cultural Association), Copenhagen, Denmark.
